Specifies requirements for a quality management system for an organization.
ISO/TS 16949:2009
Defines the quality management system requirements for the design and development, production and, when relevant, installation and service of automotive-related products in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008.
ISO 14001:2004
Provides assurance to company management and employees as well as external stakeholders that environmental impact is being measured and improved.
OHSAS 18001:2007
An internationally applied British Standard for occupational health and safety management systems. It exists to help all kinds of organizations put in place demonstrably sound occupational health and safety performance.
VDE (IEC61215/61730)
The VDE Testing and Certification Institute, headquartered in Offenbach, Germany, is among the world’s most prominent independent testing organizations for electric and electronic products. Testing and certificates are based on IEC61215/61730 standards. IEC 61215 tests the design qualification and type approval of PV modules, and IEC 61730-1/2 tests the safety qualification of PV modules for construction and testing.
CSA (UL1703)
UL 1703 covers flat-plate photovoltaic modules and panels that comply with the National Electric Code NEC, OSHA, the National Fire Prevention Association, and will be readily accepted by local inspectors. CSA Group offers global solutions for product testing & certification that access to markets in North America and around the world.
The CE mark, or formerly EC mark, is a mandatory conformity marking for certain products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. Testing and certificatation is based on IEC61215 & IEC61730 test reports.
CQC (China)
The China Quality Certification Center is a Chinese administration based in Beijing with responsibilities for the implementation of product certification. Testing and certification based on IEC61215 & IEC61730 standards.
The Japanese Electrical Safety & Environment Technology Laboratories JET were founded in 1963 as an authorized testing body designated by the government of Japan based on the Electrical Appliance and Material Control Law, taking over the testing services that the government had conducted.
Testing and certification based on IEC61215 & IEC61730 test reports. The process is designed with input from product and installer representatives, consumer groups, trade associations and technical experts from across the microgeneration and renewable industry. The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is required for the British market.
SII (Israel)
The Standards Institution of Israel (SII) is the national standardization body of Israel and has been the national leader on quality since its establishment in 1923. Testing and certificates are based on IEC61215 / IEC61730 test reports.
NRE (Korea)
The certification scheme for NRE (New and Renewable Energy) systems have been designed to guarantee the quality of systems manufactured or imported and enhance the reliability for consumers, thereby expanding the deployment of NRE systems and helping create the foundation for growth. Testing and certification are based on IEC61215 standards for the Korean market.
CEC (Australia)
CEC (Clean Energy Council) listing based on IEC61215 & IEC61730 test reports, which are required for the Australian market.
INMETRO (Brazil)
The National Institute of Metrology, Standardization and Industrial Quality INMETRO is a Brazilian federal autarchy, linked to MDIC, the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Commerce. Modules certified by INMETRO must be marked along with the energy efficiency label. Testing and certification based on IEC61215 performance standards.
UNI 9177 (Italy)
Testing and certificates based on Italian UNI9177 fire test, performed on backsheet, is different from conventional UL1703 certification requirements (testing per method described in standard UL790), which is performed on PV modules. The tests are conducted by IMQ and/or L.A.P.I.
CEC (California)
CEC Listed (California Energy Commission), based on the IEC61215 performance related tests and UL1703 certificate, required by most of the states of US market. The California Energy Commission, formally the Energy Resources Conservation and Development Commission, is California’s primary energy policy and planning agency.
FSEC (Florida)
FSEC is an ISO 17025 accredited test facility through the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation A2LA. Testing and certification are based on UL 1703 standards.
VDE (Salt Mist)
The VDE Testing and Certification Institute, headquartered in Offenbach, Germany, is among the world’s most prominent independent testing organizations for electric and electronic products. Testing and certificates base on IEC 61701 Ed.2:2011 standards: Salt mist corrosion testing of PV modules, describes test sequences useful to determine the resistance of different PV modules to corrosion from salt mist.
SGS (Blowing sand)
SGS is the world’s leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company.
